What is Breast Enlargement?

Contraindications of Breast Enlargement Surgery

Patients must inform their surgeon if they have any medical conditions such as hypertension, vascular problems, heart failure, diabetes, lung problems, bleeding problems, epilepsy, neurological problems, and allergies to certain drugs. The surgery may not be performed by the doctor if one has any of these problems.

Although it may vary from patient to patient, here’s a typical schedule of breast augmentation in Turkey:

Day 1

You arrive at the hospital in the morning to meet your plastic surgeon in person. He will explain breast augmentation in detail and examine you for the surgery. He then discusses with you the right size and the shape of the breast implants suitable for you. At this stage, you will have an opportunity to tell the surgeon about breast implant preference and expectations from breast augmentation in Turkey. The procedure usually lasts for two to three hours. Within an hour after the procedure, anaesthesia will ease and you will regain consciousness. Day 2

The second day will be the healing day for you. Your surgeon will perform the second check up in the morning and if everything is okay, you are discharged from the hospital. You will be advised on your medication and provided instructions on the dressing routine and using the medical bra. You will stay in your hotel room and rest as much as possible for the remainder of the day.

Day 3

You are advised to continue resting in your room on your third day. You should avoid heavy activities but may take a walk or go out for dinner. There are city tours and sightseeing programs available if you want to join.

Day 4

You visit your doctor’s private clinic for the final check-up, removal of drainage and change of your dressing. Your doctor advises you further on what medications you need to use and what activities you can get involved in over the course of your breast augmentation recovery period. You will be ready to go back home after your fourth day in Turkey.
