Upper Eyelid Surgery and Lower Eyelid Surgery

Patients that suffer from hooded eyelids would opt for upper eyelid surgery. In this procedure the upper eyelid has excess tissue fat and skin removed, tightening the skin around the eye. This means the eyelid no longer droops over the eye. Other patients might suffer from droopy eyelids under their eyes. Also known as “bags”. They would then opt for lower eyelid surgery. Like the upper eyelid surgery, lower eyelid surgery removes tissue and fat. Again this helps tighten the skin around the eyes making them more appealing to the patient.

Double Eyelid Surgery

Some patients may suffer from both issues surrounding the skin of the eye. In this case they would opt for double eyelid surgery. Both upper eyelids and lower eyelids would be corrected in the same procedure. Double-eyelid surgery is popular due to correcting both issues at the same time also saving money for the patient instead of separating the procedures.

Although it may vary from patient to patient, here’s a typical schedule of breast augmentation in Turkey:

Day 1

You arrive at the hospital in the morning to meet your plastic surgeon in person. He will explain breast augmentation in detail and examine you for the surgery. He then discusses with you the right size and the shape of the breast implants suitable for you. At this stage, you will have an opportunity to tell the surgeon about breast implant preference and expectations from breast augmentation in Turkey. If you would like to proceed, you will be asked to pay your remaining balance and sign consent forms. You will then have your medical tests and checks to confirm your suitability for breast surgery. The procedure usually lasts for two to three hours. Within an hour after the procedure, anaesthesia will ease and you will regain consciousness. Your doctor performs initial check-up and you stay at the hospital on the first night of breast augmentation surgery.

Day 2

The second day will be the healing day for you. Your surgeon will perform the second check up in the morning and if everything is okay, you are discharged from the hospital. You will be advised on your medication and provided instructions on the dressing routine and using the medical bra. You will stay in your hotel room and rest as much as possible for the remainder of the day.

Day 3

You are advised to continue resting in your room on your third day. You should avoid heavy activities but may take a walk or go out for dinner. There are city tours and sightseeing programs available if you want to join.

Day 4

You visit your doctor’s private clinic for the final check-up, removal of drainage and change of your dressing. Your doctor advises you further on what medications you need to use and what activities you can get involved in over the course of your breast augmentation recovery period. You will be ready to go back home after your fourth day in Turkey.
